Sveitsi Passi from Suomi: travel-document crop only
Scope lock: this URL is for Sveitsi Passi travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Even when your FotoPass market shows Suomi, a Sveitsi Passi must still meet Sveitsi photo law for that document — local domestic sizes are a different product.
This article is scoped to Sveitsi Passi as a Sveitsi travel / passport photo (35 × 45 mm, Vaaleanharmaa). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Cross-border passport work: your UI market is Suomi, but the photo law is Sveitsi for Sveitsi Passi. Local booth habits do not travel.
German-speaking passport standards commonly use 35 × 45 mm with a light background. Sveitsi Passi on this page instead targets 35 × 45 mm and Vaaleanharmaa — do not assume an EU booth print is interchangeable.
Home-market tip: Suomi passport photos are commonly about 36 × 47 mm. Sveitsi Passi instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Suomi: unfiltered selfie → lock Sveitsi Passi → upload → use the export for Sveitsi passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.
Why Suomi booth prints fail Sveitsi passport checks
A 36 × 47 mm Suomi print is not a legal 35 × 45 mm passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.
Cream or grey Suomi studio paper can also fail when Sveitsi Passi requires Vaaleanharmaa.
Embassy / online passport filing from Suomi
Submit the newest Sveitsi Passi export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a Sveitsi mission serving Suomi.
Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.
Do not switch away from Sveitsi Passi
Market chrome may say Suomi, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.
Sveitsi passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Sveitsi Passi only: 35 × 45 mm on a Vaaleanharmaa background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Sveitsi passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
35×45 biometric (passport only)
“35x45 passport photo” searches belong on Sveitsi Passi (35 × 45 mm, Vaaleanharmaa) — not on the licence page.
Sveitsi passport note
Swiss passport photos commonly use 35 × 45 mm-class framing when that matches 35 × 45 mm; this page still binds Sveitsi Passi.
