Svizzera Passaporto travel-document photo guide (Svizzera)
Scope lock: this URL is for Svizzera Passaporto travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
This Svizzera page manufactures a passport / travel-document headshot for Svizzera Passaporto — border and renewal systems, not a driving-licence desk.
This article is scoped to Svizzera Passaporto as a Svizzera travel / passport photo (35 × 45 mm, Grigio chiaro). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
German-speaking passport standards commonly use 35 × 45 mm with a light background. Svizzera Passaporto on this page instead targets 35 × 45 mm and Grigio chiaro — do not assume an EU booth print is interchangeable.
Shoot facing a window or soft lamp, shoulders square, no beauty filters. Upload here so FotoPass locks the biometric frame for 35 × 45 mm on Grigio chiaro used by Svizzera passport processors.
If an older foreign crop or licence JPEG failed at renewal, do not stretch it into a travel document. Start with Svizzera Passaporto selected and a fresh selfie.
Border & passport-office checks for Svizzera Passaporto
Svizzera passport reviewers flag wrong head height, eye line, patterned walls, wide smiles and glare. Keep a plain Grigio chiaro field behind you.
Civilian clothes only — uniforms and camouflage are classic travel-document refusals. Religious coverings that show the full face are usually fine when Svizzera policy allows them.
Passport renewal upload vs print pack
Online passport renewals want a sharp JPEG near the pixels implied by 35 × 45 mm. Paper packets may still need a physical 35 × 45 mm print — finish the biometric crop first, then choose output.
Reread the live Svizzera passport form the day you file; kilobyte caps change more often than the print millimetres.
Svizzera passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Svizzera Passaporto only: 35 × 45 mm on a Grigio chiaro background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Svizzera passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
35×45 biometric (passport only)
“35x45 passport photo” searches belong on Svizzera Passaporto (35 × 45 mm, Grigio chiaro) — not on the licence page.
Svizzera passport note
Swiss passport photos commonly use 35 × 45 mm-class framing when that matches 35 × 45 mm; this page still binds Svizzera Passaporto.
