Svizzera Passaporto from Italia: travel-document crop only
Scope lock: this URL is for Svizzera Passaporto travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Even when your FotoPass market shows Italia, a Svizzera Passaporto must still meet Svizzera photo law for that document — local domestic sizes are a different product.
This article is scoped to Svizzera Passaporto as a Svizzera travel / passport photo (35 × 45 mm, Grigio chiaro). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Cross-border passport work: your UI market is Italia, but the photo law is Svizzera for Svizzera Passaporto. Local booth habits do not travel.
German-speaking passport standards commonly use 35 × 45 mm with a light background. Svizzera Passaporto on this page instead targets 35 × 45 mm and Grigio chiaro — do not assume an EU booth print is interchangeable.
Home-market tip: Italia passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Svizzera Passaporto instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Italia: unfiltered selfie → lock Svizzera Passaporto → upload → use the export for Svizzera passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.
Why Italia booth prints fail Svizzera passport checks
A 35 × 45 mm Italia print is not a legal 35 × 45 mm passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.
Cream or grey Italia studio paper can also fail when Svizzera Passaporto requires Grigio chiaro.
Embassy / online passport filing from Italia
Submit the newest Svizzera Passaporto export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a Svizzera mission serving Italia.
Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.
Do not switch away from Svizzera Passaporto
Market chrome may say Italia, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.
Svizzera passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Svizzera Passaporto only: 35 × 45 mm on a Grigio chiaro background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Svizzera passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
35×45 biometric (passport only)
“35x45 passport photo” searches belong on Svizzera Passaporto (35 × 45 mm, Grigio chiaro) — not on the licence page.
Svizzera passport note
Swiss passport photos commonly use 35 × 45 mm-class framing when that matches 35 × 45 mm; this page still binds Svizzera Passaporto.
