Switzerland Passport from New Zealand: travel-document crop only
Scope lock: this URL is for Switzerland Passport travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Preparing a Switzerland Passport from New Zealand? Keep the document selector on this US/foreign standard — local NZ passport guidance is a separate checklist.
This article is scoped to Switzerland Passport as a Switzerland travel / passport photo (35 × 45 mm, Light grey). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Cross-border passport work: your UI market is New Zealand, but the photo law is Switzerland for Switzerland Passport. Local booth habits do not travel.
German-speaking passport standards commonly use 35 × 45 mm with a light background. Switzerland Passport on this page instead targets 35 × 45 mm and Light grey — do not assume an EU booth print is interchangeable.
Home-market tip: New Zealand passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Switzerland Passport instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From New Zealand: unfiltered selfie → lock Switzerland Passport → upload → use the export for Switzerland passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.
Why New Zealand booth prints fail Switzerland passport checks
A 35 × 45 mm New Zealand print is not a legal 35 × 45 mm passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.
Cream or grey New Zealand studio paper can also fail when Switzerland Passport requires Light grey.
Embassy / online passport filing from New Zealand
Submit the newest Switzerland Passport export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a Switzerland mission serving New Zealand.
Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.
Do not switch away from Switzerland Passport
Market chrome may say New Zealand, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.
Switzerland passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Switzerland Passport only: 35 × 45 mm on a Light grey background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Switzerland passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
35×45 biometric (passport only)
“35x45 passport photo” searches belong on Switzerland Passport (35 × 45 mm, Light grey) — not on the licence page.
Switzerland passport note
Swiss passport photos commonly use 35 × 45 mm-class framing when that matches 35 × 45 mm; this page still binds Switzerland Passport.
