Svizzera Patente driving-licence photo guide (Svizzera)
Scope lock: Svizzera Patente is a driving-licence / DMV-style product. Passport or green-card essays are not reused on this URL.
This Svizzera page is for a driving-licence / photocard headshot — Svizzera Patente — not a passport renewal essay.
This article is scoped to Svizzera Patente as a Svizzera driving-licence / DMV-style photo (35 × 45 mm, Bianco). Passport, green-card and visa essays stay on their own URLs.
German-speaking driving licence standards commonly use 35 × 45 mm with a light background. Svizzera Patente on this page instead targets 35 × 45 mm and Bianco — do not assume an EU booth print is interchangeable.
Use even indoor light, face the camera straight on, skip filters. FotoPass exports 35 × 45 mm with a Bianco field tuned for Svizzera road-authority / DMV-style intake.
Never paste a travel-document JPEG into a licence application by default. Glasses, recency and backdrop rules often diverge — start again with Svizzera Patente selected.
What licence desks check on Svizzera Patente
Transport authorities look for a current likeness, readable eyes and a plain Bianco card background. Glare on spectacles is a frequent licence-desk fail.
Do not import green-card or passport marketing copy onto this URL — the product is Svizzera Patente only.
Licence portal upload vs counter print
Many licence renewals accept a digital JPEG near 35 × 45 mm. Some counters still want a paper print — crop first here, compress second if the portal has a KB limit.
Confirm the live Svizzera driving-licence sheet the day you apply; local glasses rules can differ from passport advice.
