Australia Passi from Suomi: travel-document crop only
Scope lock: this URL is for Australia Passi travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Even when your FotoPass market shows Suomi, a Australia Passi must still meet Australia photo law for that document — local domestic sizes are a different product.
This article is scoped to Australia Passi as a Australia travel / passport photo (35 × 45 mm, Vaaleanharmaa). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Cross-border passport work: your UI market is Suomi, but the photo law is Australia for Australia Passi. Local booth habits do not travel.
Australian passport guidance centres on 35 × 45 mm. If you selected Australia Passi, ignore that local default and keep 35 × 45 mm with Vaaleanharmaa.
Home-market tip: Suomi passport photos are commonly about 36 × 47 mm. Australia Passi instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Suomi: unfiltered selfie → lock Australia Passi → upload → use the export for Australia passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.
Why Suomi booth prints fail Australia passport checks
A 36 × 47 mm Suomi print is not a legal 35 × 45 mm passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.
Cream or grey Suomi studio paper can also fail when Australia Passi requires Vaaleanharmaa.
Embassy / online passport filing from Suomi
Submit the newest Australia Passi export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a Australia mission serving Suomi.
Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.
Do not switch away from Australia Passi
Market chrome may say Suomi, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.
Australia passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Australia Passi only: 35 × 45 mm on a Vaaleanharmaa background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Australia passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
Australia passport note
Australian Passport Office habits centre on 35 × 45 mm. Australia Passi on this page is 35 × 45 mm / Vaaleanharmaa — do not assume a chemist “passport” SKU matches without checking.
Suomi → Australia passport gate
