Australia Passaporto from Italia: travel-document crop only
Scope lock: this URL is for Australia Passaporto travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Even when your FotoPass market shows Italia, a Australia Passaporto must still meet Australia photo law for that document — local domestic sizes are a different product.
This article is scoped to Australia Passaporto as a Australia travel / passport photo (35 × 45 mm, Grigio chiaro). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Cross-border passport work: your UI market is Italia, but the photo law is Australia for Australia Passaporto. Local booth habits do not travel.
Australian passport guidance centres on 35 × 45 mm. If you selected Australia Passaporto, ignore that local default and keep 35 × 45 mm with Grigio chiaro.
Home-market tip: Italia passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Australia Passaporto instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Italia: unfiltered selfie → lock Australia Passaporto → upload → use the export for Australia passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.
Why Italia booth prints fail Australia passport checks
A 35 × 45 mm Italia print is not a legal 35 × 45 mm passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.
Cream or grey Italia studio paper can also fail when Australia Passaporto requires Grigio chiaro.
Embassy / online passport filing from Italia
Submit the newest Australia Passaporto export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a Australia mission serving Italia.
Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.
Do not switch away from Australia Passaporto
Market chrome may say Italia, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.
Australia passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Australia Passaporto only: 35 × 45 mm on a Grigio chiaro background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Australia passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
Australia passport note
Australian Passport Office habits centre on 35 × 45 mm. Australia Passaporto on this page is 35 × 45 mm / Grigio chiaro — do not assume a chemist “passport” SKU matches without checking.
