India Pașaport from România: travel-document crop only
Scope lock: this URL is for India Pașaport travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Even when your FotoPass market shows România, a India Pașaport must still meet India photo law for that document — local domestic sizes are a different product.
This article is scoped to India Pașaport as a India travel / passport photo (35 × 35 mm, Alb). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Cross-border passport work: your UI market is România, but the photo law is India for India Pașaport. Local booth habits do not travel.
Official framing for India Pașaport on FotoPass is 35 × 35 mm with a Alb background. Treat any other country’s booth print as a different template.
Home-market tip: România passport photos are commonly about 30 × 40 mm. India Pașaport instead demands 35 × 35 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From România: unfiltered selfie → lock India Pașaport → upload → use the export for India passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.
Why România booth prints fail India passport checks
A 30 × 40 mm România print is not a legal 35 × 35 mm passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.
Cream or grey România studio paper can also fail when India Pașaport requires Alb.
Embassy / online passport filing from România
Submit the newest India Pașaport export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a India mission serving România.
Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.
Do not switch away from India Pașaport
Market chrome may say România, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.
India passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to India Pașaport only: 35 × 35 mm on a Alb background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “India passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
India passport note
Passport Seva style uploads are picky about pixels and background. India Pașaport exports 35 × 35 mm / Alb — convert HEIC to JPEG before portal upload.

România-based travellers clear India Pașaport checks when every passport line above is true.
