Duitsland Rijbewijs from Nederland: licence / DMV crop only
Scope lock: Duitsland Rijbewijs is a driving-licence / DMV-style product. Passport or green-card essays are not reused on this URL.
Even when your FotoPass market shows Nederland, a Duitsland Rijbewijs must still meet Duitsland photo law for that document — local domestic sizes are a different product.
This article is scoped to Duitsland Rijbewijs as a Duitsland driving-licence / DMV-style photo (35 × 45 mm, Wit). Passport, green-card and visa essays stay on their own URLs.
Cross-border licence work: UI market Nederland, photo law Duitsland for Duitsland Rijbewijs. Passport essays are not reused here.
German-speaking driving licence standards commonly use 35 × 45 mm with a light background. Duitsland Rijbewijs on this page instead targets 35 × 45 mm and Wit — do not assume an EU booth print is interchangeable.
Home-market tip: Nederland passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Duitsland Rijbewijs instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Nederland: selfie → Duitsland Rijbewijs selected → upload → send the export to the Duitsland licence portal or counter — not a recycled travel JPEG.
Why Nederland prints fail Duitsland licence desks
A 35 × 45 mm Nederland travel print does not become a legal 35 × 45 mm licence photo by trimming one edge.
Licence desks also reject glasses glare and outdated likeness more aggressively than some passport counters.
Licence portal notes from Nederland
Upload the newest Duitsland Rijbewijs file for the Duitsland transport authority — keep the selector off passport products.
Apply portal compression only after the licence crop is correct.
Stay on the licence product (Duitsland Rijbewijs)
Switching to a Nederland passport mid-flow silently changes millimetres. H1 and selector must remain Duitsland Rijbewijs.
Duitsland driving-licence photo searches
Searches for driving licence photo, driver license photo size, and local DMV / transport-authority headshots map to Duitsland Rijbewijs (35 × 45 mm, Wit).
Do not paste a passport JPEG into a licence application by default — glasses, background and recency rules often differ. Use this licence crop.
