Germany Driving licence from Singapore: licence / DMV crop only
Scope lock: Germany Driving licence is a driving-licence / DMV-style product. Passport or green-card essays are not reused on this URL.
Living in Singapore does not change the Germany photo standard for Germany Driving licence. Use this page when the application names Germany sizes, not a local ICA or Home Affairs crop.
This article is scoped to Germany Driving licence as a Germany driving-licence / DMV-style photo (35 × 45 mm, White). Passport, green-card and visa essays stay on their own URLs.
Cross-border licence work: UI market Singapore, photo law Germany for Germany Driving licence. Passport essays are not reused here.
German-speaking driving licence standards commonly use 35 × 45 mm with a light background. Germany Driving licence on this page instead targets 35 × 45 mm and White — do not assume an EU booth print is interchangeable.
Home-market tip: Singapore passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Germany Driving licence instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Singapore: selfie → Germany Driving licence selected → upload → send the export to the Germany licence portal or counter — not a recycled travel JPEG.
Why Singapore prints fail Germany licence desks
A 35 × 45 mm Singapore travel print does not become a legal 35 × 45 mm licence photo by trimming one edge.
Licence desks also reject glasses glare and outdated likeness more aggressively than some passport counters.
Licence portal notes from Singapore
Upload the newest Germany Driving licence file for the Germany transport authority — keep the selector off passport products.
Apply portal compression only after the licence crop is correct.
Stay on the licence product (Germany Driving licence)
Switching to a Singapore passport mid-flow silently changes millimetres. H1 and selector must remain Germany Driving licence.
Germany driving-licence photo searches
Searches for driving licence photo, driver license photo size, and local DMV / transport-authority headshots map to Germany Driving licence (35 × 45 mm, White).
Do not paste a passport JPEG into a licence application by default — glasses, background and recency rules often differ. Use this licence crop.
