Russia Patente from Italia: licence / DMV crop only
Scope lock: Russia Patente is a driving-licence / DMV-style product. Passport or green-card essays are not reused on this URL.
Even when your FotoPass market shows Italia, a Russia Patente must still meet Russia photo law for that document — local domestic sizes are a different product.
This article is scoped to Russia Patente as a Russia driving-licence / DMV-style photo (35 × 45 mm, Bianco). Passport, green-card and visa essays stay on their own URLs.
Cross-border licence work: UI market Italia, photo law Russia for Russia Patente. Passport essays are not reused here.
Official framing for Russia Patente on FotoPass is 35 × 45 mm with a Bianco background. Treat any other country’s booth print as a different template.
Home-market tip: Italia passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Russia Patente instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Italia: selfie → Russia Patente selected → upload → send the export to the Russia licence portal or counter — not a recycled travel JPEG.
Why Italia prints fail Russia licence desks
A 35 × 45 mm Italia travel print does not become a legal 35 × 45 mm licence photo by trimming one edge.
Licence desks also reject glasses glare and outdated likeness more aggressively than some passport counters.
Licence portal notes from Italia
Upload the newest Russia Patente file for the Russia transport authority — keep the selector off passport products.
Apply portal compression only after the licence crop is correct.
Stay on the licence product (Russia Patente)
Switching to a Italia passport mid-flow silently changes millimetres. H1 and selector must remain Russia Patente.
Russia driving-licence photo searches
Searches for driving licence photo, driver license photo size, and local DMV / transport-authority headshots map to Russia Patente (35 × 45 mm, Bianco).
Do not paste a passport JPEG into a licence application by default — glasses, background and recency rules often differ. Use this licence crop.
