USA Pass from Sverige: travel-document crop only
Scope lock: this URL is for USA Pass travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Even when your FotoPass market shows Sverige, a USA Pass must still meet USA photo law for that document — local domestic sizes are a different product.
This article is scoped to USA Pass as a USA travel / passport photo (2 × 2 in, Vit). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Cross-border passport work: your UI market is Sverige, but the photo law is USA for USA Pass. Local booth habits do not travel.
For most United States passport photos the canonical print is a square 2 × 2 inch frame on a plain white background. Eyes open, mouth closed, and no typical eyeglass glare are recurring rejection themes. This page locks USA Pass to 2 × 2 in / Vit.
Home-market tip: Sverige passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. USA Pass instead demands 2 × 2 in — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Sverige: unfiltered selfie → lock USA Pass → upload → use the export for USA passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.
Why Sverige booth prints fail USA passport checks
A 35 × 45 mm Sverige print is not a legal 2 × 2 in passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.
Cream or grey Sverige studio paper can also fail when USA Pass requires Vit.
Embassy / online passport filing from Sverige
Submit the newest USA Pass export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a USA mission serving Sverige.
Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.
Do not switch away from USA Pass
Market chrome may say Sverige, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.
USA passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to USA Pass only: 2 × 2 in on a Vit background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “USA passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
Green card & USCIS (passport page only)
High-volume green card photo / USCIS 2x2 searches share the 2 × 2 in family with USA Pass (Vit background).
Same print size ≠ same filing. Export a fresh file per application. DV lottery photos are a separate product — not this passport tool.
DS-160 vs passport renewal uploads
Both often want 2×2, but portals add different kilobyte caps. Author USA Pass first, then compress.
Drugstore “passport photo” menus sometimes print the wrong SKU — keep control with this online crop.
