Austria Passaporto from Svizzera: travel-document crop only
Scope lock: this URL is for Austria Passaporto travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Even when your FotoPass market shows Svizzera, a Austria Passaporto must still meet Austria photo law for that document — local domestic sizes are a different product.
This article is scoped to Austria Passaporto as a Austria travel / passport photo (35 × 45 mm, Grigio chiaro). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Cross-border passport work: your UI market is Svizzera, but the photo law is Austria for Austria Passaporto. Local booth habits do not travel.
German-speaking passport standards commonly use 35 × 45 mm with a light background. Austria Passaporto on this page instead targets 35 × 45 mm and Grigio chiaro — do not assume an EU booth print is interchangeable.
Home-market tip: Svizzera passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Austria Passaporto instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Svizzera: unfiltered selfie → lock Austria Passaporto → upload → use the export for Austria passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.
Why Svizzera booth prints fail Austria passport checks
A 35 × 45 mm Svizzera print is not a legal 35 × 45 mm passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.
Cream or grey Svizzera studio paper can also fail when Austria Passaporto requires Grigio chiaro.
Embassy / online passport filing from Svizzera
Submit the newest Austria Passaporto export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a Austria mission serving Svizzera.
Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.
Do not switch away from Austria Passaporto
Market chrome may say Svizzera, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.
Austria passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Austria Passaporto only: 35 × 45 mm on a Grigio chiaro background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Austria passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
35×45 biometric (passport only)
“35x45 passport photo” searches belong on Austria Passaporto (35 × 45 mm, Grigio chiaro) — not on the licence page.
Austria passport note
