Austria Passport from Ireland: travel-document crop only
Scope lock: this URL is for Austria Passport travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
In Ireland, treat this page as a Austria-only tool for Austria Passport. Irish passport booth sizes are not a substitute when the form explicitly asks for Austria measurements.
This article is scoped to Austria Passport as a Austria travel / passport photo (35 × 45 mm, Light grey). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Cross-border passport work: your UI market is Ireland, but the photo law is Austria for Austria Passport. Local booth habits do not travel.
German-speaking passport standards commonly use 35 × 45 mm with a light background. Austria Passport on this page instead targets 35 × 45 mm and Light grey — do not assume an EU booth print is interchangeable.
Home-market tip: Ireland passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Austria Passport instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Ireland: unfiltered selfie → lock Austria Passport → upload → use the export for Austria passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.
Why Ireland booth prints fail Austria passport checks
A 35 × 45 mm Ireland print is not a legal 35 × 45 mm passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.
Cream or grey Ireland studio paper can also fail when Austria Passport requires Light grey.
Embassy / online passport filing from Ireland
Submit the newest Austria Passport export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a Austria mission serving Ireland.
Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.
Do not switch away from Austria Passport
Market chrome may say Ireland, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.
Austria passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Austria Passport only: 35 × 45 mm on a Light grey background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Austria passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
35×45 biometric (passport only)
“35x45 passport photo” searches belong on Austria Passport (35 × 45 mm, Light grey) — not on the licence page.
Austria passport note
Austrian passport photos follow common EU bands; Austria Passport exports 35 × 45 mm / Light grey.
