Is my Sverige passport photo valid for Malaysia Pass?

Almost never — local files are often near 35 × 45 mm; Malaysia Pass needs 35 × 50 mm / Ljusgrå.

DIY passport photo while living in Sverige?

Yes. Keep Malaysia Pass selected so Malaysia millimetres apply.

Studio required in Sverige?

No — a sharp selfie plus this passport crop is enough for most digital filings.

Mandatory passport size?

35 × 50 mm on Ljusgrå for Malaysia Pass.

Will the embassy reprint for me?

Do not plan on it — arrive with a correct Malaysia Pass file.

Malaysia passport policy wins; remove glasses if unsure; skip uniforms.

Portal rejects after download?

Fix KB/pixel caps after the biometric crop; reread Malaysia passport help.

Can I reuse a driving-licence photo for this passport?

Only if size and background already match. Otherwise regenerate as Malaysia Pass on this page.

Does this page create ID or licence photos?

No — the selector is Malaysia Pass. Pick the matching document for other products.

Malaysia Pass — 35 × 50 mm

Malaysia Pass from Sverige: travel-document crop only

Scope lock: this URL is for Malaysia Pass travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.

Even when your FotoPass market shows Sverige, a Malaysia Pass must still meet Malaysia photo law for that document — local domestic sizes are a different product.

This article is scoped to Malaysia Pass as a Malaysia travel / passport photo (35 × 50 mm, Ljusgrå). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.

Cross-border passport work: your UI market is Sverige, but the photo law is Malaysia for Malaysia Pass. Local booth habits do not travel.

Official framing for Malaysia Pass on FotoPass is 35 × 50 mm with a Ljusgrå background. Treat any other country’s booth print as a different template.

Home-market tip: Sverige passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Malaysia Pass instead demands 35 × 50 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.

From Sverige: unfiltered selfie → lock Malaysia Pass → upload → use the export for Malaysia passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.

Why Sverige booth prints fail Malaysia passport checks

A 35 × 45 mm Sverige print is not a legal 35 × 50 mm passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.

Cream or grey Sverige studio paper can also fail when Malaysia Pass requires Ljusgrå.

Embassy / online passport filing from Sverige

Submit the newest Malaysia Pass export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a Malaysia mission serving Sverige.

Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.

Do not switch away from Malaysia Pass

Market chrome may say Sverige, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.

Malaysia passport photo — what people search

This page is scoped to Malaysia Pass only: 35 × 50 mm on a Ljusgrå background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.

Queries such as “Malaysia passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
