Canadian dual citizens & travellers: Russie Passeport sizes
Scope lock: this URL is for Russie Passeport travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
In Canada, US russie passeport requests are common for dual citizens and frequent travellers. Canadian passport dimensions (often taller prints) are a frequent mix-up with Russie square or ratio crops.
This article is scoped to Russie Passeport as a Russie travel / passport photo (35 × 45 mm, Gris clair). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Canada’s common 50 × 70 mm passport strip is taller than Russie Passeport at 35 × 45 mm. Dual citizens who recycle the Canadian print into a Russie form get predictable rejections.
Official framing for Russie Passeport on FotoPass is 35 × 45 mm with a Gris clair background. Treat any other country’s booth print as a different template.
From any province: selfie → Russie Passeport selected → upload on this page → use the export for Russie online tools or a Russie appointment while living in Canada.
50 × 70 mm Canada vs Russie Passeport
Do not trim a Canadian strip into another shape in Preview/Photos — head-size percentages break. Regenerate with Russie Passeport so 35 × 45 mm is authored correctly.
Background must read Gris clair for this passport document even if your Canadian studio used a cooler grey.
Cross-border filing habits for Russie Passeport
Keep separate folders: “CA passport” vs “Russie Passeport”. Mixing filenames is how the wrong JPEG gets uploaded at midnight.
