Ireland Passport from Singapore: travel-document crop only
Scope lock: this URL is for Ireland Passport travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Living in Singapore does not change the Ireland photo standard for Ireland Passport. Use this page when the application names Ireland sizes, not a local ICA or Home Affairs crop.
This article is scoped to Ireland Passport as a Ireland travel / passport photo (35 × 45 mm, Light grey). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Cross-border passport work: your UI market is Singapore, but the photo law is Ireland for Ireland Passport. Local booth habits do not travel.
Official framing for Ireland Passport on FotoPass is 35 × 45 mm with a Light grey background. Treat any other country’s booth print as a different template.
Home-market tip: Singapore passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Ireland Passport instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Singapore: unfiltered selfie → lock Ireland Passport → upload → use the export for Ireland passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.
Why Singapore booth prints fail Ireland passport checks
A 35 × 45 mm Singapore print is not a legal 35 × 45 mm passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.
Cream or grey Singapore studio paper can also fail when Ireland Passport requires Light grey.
Embassy / online passport filing from Singapore
Submit the newest Ireland Passport export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a Ireland mission serving Singapore.
Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.
Do not switch away from Ireland Passport
Market chrome may say Singapore, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.
Ireland passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Ireland Passport only: 35 × 45 mm on a Light grey background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Ireland passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
Ireland passport note
