Singapore Passport from New Zealand: travel-document crop only
Scope lock: this URL is for Singapore Passport travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Preparing a Singapore Passport from New Zealand? Keep the document selector on this US/foreign standard — local NZ passport guidance is a separate checklist.
This article is scoped to Singapore Passport as a Singapore travel / passport photo (35 × 45 mm, Light grey). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Cross-border passport work: your UI market is New Zealand, but the photo law is Singapore for Singapore Passport. Local booth habits do not travel.
Official framing for Singapore Passport on FotoPass is 35 × 45 mm with a Light grey background. Treat any other country’s booth print as a different template.
Home-market tip: New Zealand passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Singapore Passport instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From New Zealand: unfiltered selfie → lock Singapore Passport → upload → use the export for Singapore passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.
Why New Zealand booth prints fail Singapore passport checks
A 35 × 45 mm New Zealand print is not a legal 35 × 45 mm passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.
Cream or grey New Zealand studio paper can also fail when Singapore Passport requires Light grey.
Embassy / online passport filing from New Zealand
Submit the newest Singapore Passport export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a Singapore mission serving New Zealand.
Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.
Do not switch away from Singapore Passport
Market chrome may say New Zealand, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.
Singapore passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Singapore Passport only: 35 × 45 mm on a Light grey background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Singapore passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
Singapore passport note
ICA-style Singapore passport rules are strict on background; keep Singapore Passport at 35 × 45 mm.
New Zealand → Singapore passport gate
- Form asks for Singapore Passport (passport / travel)
- Canvas 35 × 45 mm — not the usual New Zealand booth (35 × 45 mm)
- Passport backdrop Light grey
- No stretched local passport JPEG
- Neutral face for border biometrics
- Market New Zealand / law Singapore
New Zealand-based travellers clear Singapore Passport checks when every passport line above is true.
