United Kingdom driving licence photos are usually a 35 × 45 mm portrait with strict head-height bands. That is a different geometry from square US prints — never stretch a UK booth file to fake 35 × 45 mm.
Home-market tip: Sverige passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Storbritannien Körkort instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Sverige: selfie → Storbritannien Körkort selected → upload → send the export to the Storbritannien licence portal or counter — not a recycled travel JPEG.
Why Sverige prints fail Storbritannien licence desks
A 35 × 45 mm Sverige travel print does not become a legal 35 × 45 mm licence photo by trimming one edge.
Licence desks also reject glasses glare and outdated likeness more aggressively than some passport counters.
Licence portal notes from Sverige
Upload the newest Storbritannien Körkort file for the Storbritannien transport authority — keep the selector off passport products.
Apply portal compression only after the licence crop is correct.
Stay on the licence product (Storbritannien Körkort)
Switching to a Sverige passport mid-flow silently changes millimetres. H1 and selector must remain Storbritannien Körkort.
