イギリス パスポート from 日本: travel-document crop only
Scope lock: this URL is for イギリス パスポート travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Even when your FotoPass market shows 日本, a イギリス パスポート must still meet イギリス photo law for that document — local domestic sizes are a different product.
This article is scoped to イギリス パスポート as a イギリス travel / passport photo (35 × 45 mm, ライトグレー). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Cross-border passport work: your UI market is 日本, but the photo law is イギリス for イギリス パスポート. Local booth habits do not travel.
United Kingdom passport photos are usually a 35 × 45 mm portrait with strict head-height bands. That is a different geometry from square US prints — never stretch a UK booth file to fake 35 × 45 mm.
Home-market tip: 日本 passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. イギリス パスポート instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From 日本: unfiltered selfie → lock イギリス パスポート → upload → use the export for イギリス passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.
Why 日本 booth prints fail イギリス passport checks
A 35 × 45 mm 日本 print is not a legal 35 × 45 mm passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.
Cream or grey 日本 studio paper can also fail when イギリス パスポート requires ライトグレー.
Embassy / online passport filing from 日本
Submit the newest イギリス パスポート export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a イギリス mission serving 日本.
Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.
Do not switch away from イギリス パスポート
Market chrome may say 日本, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.
イギリス passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to イギリス パスポート only: 35 × 45 mm on a ライトグレー background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “イギリス passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
GOV.UK digital code (UK passport only)
Digital photo code / HMPO searches belong on イギリス パスポート (35 × 45 mm, ライトグレー) — not on the UK driving-licence page.
