Canada Passport from Singapore: travel-document crop only
Scope lock: this URL is for Canada Passport travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Living in Singapore does not change the Canada photo standard for Canada Passport. Use this page when the application names Canada sizes, not a local ICA or Home Affairs crop.
This article is scoped to Canada Passport as a Canada travel / passport photo (50 × 70 mm, White). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Cross-border passport work: your UI market is Singapore, but the photo law is Canada for Canada Passport. Local booth habits do not travel.
Canadian passport prints are often 50 × 70 mm. Canada Passport here is 50 × 70 mm — a common dual-citizen mistake is uploading the Canadian strip unchanged.
Home-market tip: Singapore passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Canada Passport instead demands 50 × 70 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Singapore: unfiltered selfie → lock Canada Passport → upload → use the export for Canada passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.
Why Singapore booth prints fail Canada passport checks
A 35 × 45 mm Singapore print is not a legal 50 × 70 mm passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.
Cream or grey Singapore studio paper can also fail when Canada Passport requires White.
Embassy / online passport filing from Singapore
Submit the newest Canada Passport export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a Canada mission serving Singapore.
Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.
Do not switch away from Canada Passport
Market chrome may say Singapore, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.
Canada passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Canada Passport only: 50 × 70 mm on a White background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Canada passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
Canada passport note
IRCC passport prints are commonly 50 × 70 mm. Canada Passport here locks 50 × 70 mm — a frequent dual-citizen mix-up with US 2×2.
