Vietnam Passport from New Zealand: travel-document crop only
Scope lock: this URL is for Vietnam Passport travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Preparing a Vietnam Passport from New Zealand? Keep the document selector on this US/foreign standard — local NZ passport guidance is a separate checklist.
This article is scoped to Vietnam Passport as a Vietnam travel / passport photo (40 × 60 mm, Light grey). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Cross-border passport work: your UI market is New Zealand, but the photo law is Vietnam for Vietnam Passport. Local booth habits do not travel.
Official framing for Vietnam Passport on FotoPass is 40 × 60 mm with a Light grey background. Treat any other country’s booth print as a different template.
Home-market tip: New Zealand passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Vietnam Passport instead demands 40 × 60 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From New Zealand: unfiltered selfie → lock Vietnam Passport → upload → use the export for Vietnam passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.
Why New Zealand booth prints fail Vietnam passport checks
A 35 × 45 mm New Zealand print is not a legal 40 × 60 mm passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.
Cream or grey New Zealand studio paper can also fail when Vietnam Passport requires Light grey.
Embassy / online passport filing from New Zealand
Submit the newest Vietnam Passport export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a Vietnam mission serving New Zealand.
Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.
Do not switch away from Vietnam Passport
Market chrome may say New Zealand, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.
Vietnam passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Vietnam Passport only: 40 × 60 mm on a Light grey background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Vietnam passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
