Portugal Passport from New Zealand: travel-document crop only
Scope lock: this URL is for Portugal Passport travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Preparing a Portugal Passport from New Zealand? Keep the document selector on this US/foreign standard — local NZ passport guidance is a separate checklist.
This article is scoped to Portugal Passport as a Portugal travel / passport photo (35 × 45 mm, Light grey). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
Cross-border passport work: your UI market is New Zealand, but the photo law is Portugal for Portugal Passport. Local booth habits do not travel.
Official framing for Portugal Passport on FotoPass is 35 × 45 mm with a Light grey background. Treat any other country’s booth print as a different template.
Home-market tip: New Zealand passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Portugal Passport instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From New Zealand: unfiltered selfie → lock Portugal Passport → upload → use the export for Portugal passport portals or embassy packets — never a recycled licence file.
Why New Zealand booth prints fail Portugal passport checks
A 35 × 45 mm New Zealand print is not a legal 35 × 45 mm passport crop. Phone edge-trims break head ratios that border systems measure.
Cream or grey New Zealand studio paper can also fail when Portugal Passport requires Light grey.
Embassy / online passport filing from New Zealand
Submit the newest Portugal Passport export — not last year’s holiday portrait — whether you file online or attend a Portugal mission serving New Zealand.
Compress for portal KB limits only after the biometric passport crop is set.
Do not switch away from Portugal Passport
Market chrome may say New Zealand, but the selector must stay on this passport product. Changing to a local licence silently changes millimetres.
Portugal passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Portugal Passport only: 35 × 45 mm on a Light grey background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Portugal passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
Portugal passport note
