Why New Zealand prints fail Australia licence desks
A 35 × 45 mm New Zealand travel print does not become a legal 35 × 45 mm licence photo by trimming one edge.
Licence desks also reject glasses glare and outdated likeness more aggressively than some passport counters.
Licence portal notes from New Zealand
Upload the newest Australia Driving licence file for the Australia transport authority — keep the selector off passport products.
Apply portal compression only after the licence crop is correct.
Stay on the licence product (Australia Driving licence)
Switching to a New Zealand passport mid-flow silently changes millimetres. H1 and selector must remain Australia Driving licence.
