From Ireland: selfie → China Driving licence selected → upload → send the export to the China licence portal or counter — not a recycled travel JPEG.
Why Ireland prints fail China licence desks
A 35 × 45 mm Ireland travel print does not become a legal 32 × 22 mm licence photo by trimming one edge.
Licence desks also reject glasses glare and outdated likeness more aggressively than some passport counters.
Licence portal notes from Ireland
Upload the newest China Driving licence file for the China transport authority — keep the selector off passport products.
Apply portal compression only after the licence crop is correct.
Stay on the licence product (China Driving licence)
Switching to a Ireland passport mid-flow silently changes millimetres. H1 and selector must remain China Driving licence.
