Romania ID / Licence from Australia: identity-document crop only
Scope lock: Romania ID / Licence is an identity / residence-style document page, kept separate from passport and licence URLs.
From Australia, applicants often need a Romania ID / Licence for travel document renewals filed online or through a US mission. An Australian Passport Office crop will not satisfy Romania reviewers if the millimetre size differs.
This article is scoped to Romania ID / Licence as a Romania identity / residence-style photo (35 × 45 mm, Light grey), kept separate from passport and licence pages.
Cross-border ID work: market Australia, photo law Romania for Romania ID / Licence. Passport and licence copy stay on other URLs.
Official framing for Romania ID / Licence on FotoPass is 35 × 45 mm with a Light grey background. Treat any other country’s booth print as a different template.
Home-market tip: Australia passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Romania ID / Licence instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Australia: selfie → Romania ID / Licence → upload → use the export for Romania registry / residence filings.
Why Australia defaults fail Romania ID checks
A 35 × 45 mm Australia print is not automatically a valid 35 × 45 mm ID crop for Romania ID / Licence.
Registries want a plain Light grey field and a current likeness — not a reused travel JPEG.
Registry / online ID notes from Australia
