Zuid-Afrika Rijbewijs from Nederland: licence / DMV crop only
Scope lock: Zuid-Afrika Rijbewijs is a driving-licence / DMV-style product. Passport or green-card essays are not reused on this URL.
Even when your FotoPass market shows Nederland, a Zuid-Afrika Rijbewijs must still meet Zuid-Afrika photo law for that document — local domestic sizes are a different product.
This article is scoped to Zuid-Afrika Rijbewijs as a Zuid-Afrika driving-licence / DMV-style photo (35 × 45 mm, Wit). Passport, green-card and visa essays stay on their own URLs.
Cross-border licence work: UI market Nederland, photo law Zuid-Afrika for Zuid-Afrika Rijbewijs. Passport essays are not reused here.
Official framing for Zuid-Afrika Rijbewijs on FotoPass is 35 × 45 mm with a Wit background. Treat any other country’s booth print as a different template.
Home-market tip: Nederland passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Zuid-Afrika Rijbewijs instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Nederland: selfie → Zuid-Afrika Rijbewijs selected → upload → send the export to the Zuid-Afrika licence portal or counter — not a recycled travel JPEG.
Why Nederland prints fail Zuid-Afrika licence desks
A 35 × 45 mm Nederland travel print does not become a legal 35 × 45 mm licence photo by trimming one edge.
Licence desks also reject glasses glare and outdated likeness more aggressively than some passport counters.
Licence portal notes from Nederland
Upload the newest Zuid-Afrika Rijbewijs file for the Zuid-Afrika transport authority — keep the selector off passport products.
Apply portal compression only after the licence crop is correct.
Stay on the licence product (Zuid-Afrika Rijbewijs)
Switching to a Nederland passport mid-flow silently changes millimetres. H1 and selector must remain Zuid-Afrika Rijbewijs.
Zuid-Afrika driving-licence photo searches
