Ukraine Passport from the UK: ignore GOV.UK sizes
Scope lock: this URL is for Ukraine Passport travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Many people in the United Kingdom order a Ukraine Passport while renewing from abroad, booking a US consular appointment, or submitting an online US form. GOV.UK photo rules do not apply to that file — only Ukraine specifications on this page do.
This article is scoped to Ukraine Passport as a Ukraine travel / passport photo (35 × 45 mm, Light grey). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
British applicants routinely paste a 35 × 45 mm HMPO-style portrait into a Ukraine form. That portrait is legal for a UK passport — and wrong for Ukraine Passport at 35 × 45 mm on Light grey.
Official framing for Ukraine Passport on FotoPass is 35 × 45 mm with a Light grey background. Treat any other country’s booth print as a different template.
Practical UK workflow: selfie in daylight near a window (avoid yellow tungsten alone), confirm Ukraine Passport, upload here, then attach the export to the Ukraine online tool or take it to your London / Belfast / Edinburgh consular packet — not a high-street “UK passport” booth ticket.
35 × 45 mm vs Ukraine Passport geometry
UK passport guidance is a tall rectangle. Ukraine Passport needs 35 × 45 mm (exact millimetres above). Phone “perspective” tools cannot invent the missing width legally.
If a UK chemist already printed 35 × 45 mm, leave that print for UK renewals. Generate a separate Ukraine Passport file on FotoPass for Ukraine passport filings.
Filing Ukraine Passport from England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland
Online Ukraine passport renewals accept digital photos when the crop matches Ukraine rules. Embassy / consulate appointments serving UK residents still expect the same 35 × 45 mm standard — bring the newest download, not last year’s holiday snap.
Compress for portal kilobyte caps only after FotoPass has set the biometric frame for Ukraine Passport.
Ukraine passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Ukraine Passport only: 35 × 45 mm on a Light grey background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Ukraine passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
Ukraine passport note
Ukrainian passport biometric framing is set here to 35 × 45 mm for Ukraine Passport.
UK → Ukraine passport photo gate
- Form asks for Ukraine Passport, not a UK passport photo
- Canvas is 35 × 45 mm, not 35 × 45 mm
- Backdrop is Light grey (not cream booth paper)
- No stretched HMPO JPEG
- Neutral expression; glasses policy checked against Ukraine passport rules
- Selector still shows Ukraine Passport while the site market is United Kingdom
Treat UK and Ukraine photo products as two different SKUs — this page only manufactures the Ukraine Passport passport one.
