Croatia Passport from the UK: ignore GOV.UK sizes
Scope lock: this URL is for Croatia Passport travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
Many people in the United Kingdom order a Croatia Passport while renewing from abroad, booking a US consular appointment, or submitting an online US form. GOV.UK photo rules do not apply to that file — only Croatia specifications on this page do.
This article is scoped to Croatia Passport as a Croatia travel / passport photo (35 × 45 mm, Light grey). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
British applicants routinely paste a 35 × 45 mm HMPO-style portrait into a Croatia form. That portrait is legal for a UK passport — and wrong for Croatia Passport at 35 × 45 mm on Light grey.
Official framing for Croatia Passport on FotoPass is 35 × 45 mm with a Light grey background. Treat any other country’s booth print as a different template.
Practical UK workflow: selfie in daylight near a window (avoid yellow tungsten alone), confirm Croatia Passport, upload here, then attach the export to the Croatia online tool or take it to your London / Belfast / Edinburgh consular packet — not a high-street “UK passport” booth ticket.
35 × 45 mm vs Croatia Passport geometry
UK passport guidance is a tall rectangle. Croatia Passport needs 35 × 45 mm (exact millimetres above). Phone “perspective” tools cannot invent the missing width legally.
If a UK chemist already printed 35 × 45 mm, leave that print for UK renewals. Generate a separate Croatia Passport file on FotoPass for Croatia passport filings.
Filing Croatia Passport from England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland
Online Croatia passport renewals accept digital photos when the crop matches Croatia rules. Embassy / consulate appointments serving UK residents still expect the same 35 × 45 mm standard — bring the newest download, not last year’s holiday snap.
Compress for portal kilobyte caps only after FotoPass has set the biometric frame for Croatia Passport.
Croatia passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Croatia Passport only: 35 × 45 mm on a Light grey background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Croatia passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
UK → Croatia passport photo gate
- Form asks for Croatia Passport, not a UK passport photo
- Canvas is 35 × 45 mm, not 35 × 45 mm
- Backdrop is Light grey (not cream booth paper)
- No stretched HMPO JPEG
- Neutral expression; glasses policy checked against Croatia passport rules
- Selector still shows Croatia Passport while the site market is United Kingdom
Treat UK and Croatia photo products as two different SKUs — this page only manufactures the Croatia Passport passport one.
