Australian residents: building a Türkiye Passport the right way
Scope lock: this URL is for Türkiye Passport travel-document photos only — licence and national-ID copy live on their own pages.
From Australia, applicants often need a Türkiye Passport for travel document renewals filed online or through a US mission. An Australian Passport Office crop will not satisfy Türkiye reviewers if the millimetre size differs.
This article is scoped to Türkiye Passport as a Türkiye travel / passport photo (50 × 60 mm, Light grey). Driving-licence and national-ID wording is not pasted here.
The Australian Passport Office teaches a 35 × 45 mm habit. Türkiye Passport breaks that habit on purpose: target 50 × 60 mm and Light grey every time.
Türkiye biyometrik passport ölçüleri (ör. pasaportta sık görülen 50 × 60 mm bandı) ABD karesinden farklıdır. Bu sayfa Türkiye Passport için 50 × 60 mm üretir.
From Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or regional AU: shoot a clean selfie indoors, lock Türkiye Passport in the selector, upload, and keep the export for Türkiye online renewal or a Türkiye mission appointment in Australia.
Passport Office size ≠ Türkiye Passport size
Do not “letterbox” an AU 35 × 45 mm file into another shape — automated Türkiye passport checks still see wrong head ratios.
Cream or pale-grey AU studio papers can also fail Türkiye Passport if the portal expects pure Light grey.
Timezone & filing tips for AU applicants of Türkiye Passport
Generate the passport photo the same week you submit; Türkiye portals dislike outdated likeness more than travellers expect.
If you print locally in Australia, ask for an exact 50 × 60 mm cut — not “passport photo” as a generic shop code.
Türkiye passport photo — what people search
This page is scoped to Türkiye Passport only: 50 × 60 mm on a Light grey background. Licence or national-ID crops belong on their own document pages.
Queries such as “Türkiye passport photo size” and “biometric passport photo” should land here — not on a driving-licence tool with a coincidentally similar millimetre size.
NVI / 50×60 (Turkish passport only)
50x60 biometric and NVI passport photo searches belong on Türkiye Passport (50 × 60 mm, Light grey). Licence/ID pages keep their own copy.
Do not bring a Schengen 35×45 print to a Turkish passport desk.
Australia → Türkiye passport acceptance gate
- Document = Türkiye Passport (Türkiye law)
- Size 50 × 60 mm (not AU 35 × 45 mm)
- Background Light grey
- No reused Australian Passport Office JPEG
- Even daylight; no beach-glare selfies
- Market shows Australia, rules stay Türkiye
AU market branding on FotoPass only localises chrome — Türkiye Passport still ships Türkiye millimetres.
