Austria Driving licence from Australia: licence / DMV crop only
Scope lock: Austria Driving licence is a driving-licence / DMV-style product. Passport or green-card essays are not reused on this URL.
From Australia, applicants often need a Austria Driving licence for travel document renewals filed online or through a US mission. An Australian Passport Office crop will not satisfy Austria reviewers if the millimetre size differs.
This article is scoped to Austria Driving licence as a Austria driving-licence / DMV-style photo (35 × 45 mm, White). Passport, green-card and visa essays stay on their own URLs.
Cross-border licence work: UI market Australia, photo law Austria for Austria Driving licence. Passport essays are not reused here.
German-speaking driving licence standards commonly use 35 × 45 mm with a light background. Austria Driving licence on this page instead targets 35 × 45 mm and White — do not assume an EU booth print is interchangeable.
Home-market tip: Australia passport photos are commonly about 35 × 45 mm. Austria Driving licence instead demands 35 × 45 mm — different aspect ratio, not a simple resize.
From Australia: selfie → Austria Driving licence selected → upload → send the export to the Austria licence portal or counter — not a recycled travel JPEG.
Why Australia prints fail Austria licence desks
A 35 × 45 mm Australia travel print does not become a legal 35 × 45 mm licence photo by trimming one edge.
Licence desks also reject glasses glare and outdated likeness more aggressively than some passport counters.
Licence portal notes from Australia
Upload the newest Austria Driving licence file for the Austria transport authority — keep the selector off passport products.
Apply portal compression only after the licence crop is correct.
Stay on the licence product (Austria Driving licence)
Switching to a Australia passport mid-flow silently changes millimetres. H1 and selector must remain Austria Driving licence.
